Redstack have been partnering with Schools all around Australia for over 20 years (co-ordinated by me since February 2005) to assist in accessing software, training, mentoring, technical support and in recent years a range of 3D printing technology products to enhance the Design Technology and Art Curriculum. With intra school competitions such as the F1 in Schools and the Solar Car challenge, schools have turned to varying technology to enable them to be competitive. This has helped drive what Redstack can offer to all levels of education from Primary Schools to Universities.
Redstack offer an ever increasing range of 3D printing technologies to educational institutions. We currently supply Ultimaker, Dremmel and BigRep SLA (filament) printers; Formlabs Resin printers; and Markforged composite printers (including metal). This wide range enables Redstack to accommodate varying budgets ranging from $3,000 to $300,000 based on your needs.
The Future Of Manufacturing
Markforged is liberating designers and engineers from the long lead times and high costs of traditional manufacturing.
Redstack supplies the Carvey enclosed 3D carving unit and consumables. This technology is used not only in tech studies, but increasingly in Art classes as a precision replacement for the old school lino print and a safer alternative to pyrography.
Redstack can supply Einscan hand held scanning equipment to enable you to scan an existing item in order to print a new one.

We run a range of in class courses in Adelaide and Melbourne, varying from 3 to 5 days depending on the product you wish to learn. Our range of Inventor courses, as well as Fusion 360 and Revit Architecture are the courses of most interest to teachers.
We also occasionally offer a custom 1 day Inventor for Educators overview once we have a minimum number of enquirers registered on our waitlist. This course was designed by us, based on covering the basics needed for teachers to be able to introduce the product to their students.
Please contact me if you would like to be waitlisted for notification of the next scheduled class. Registering your interest is advised because each class only takes a maximum of 8 participants and they tend to fill very quickly when offered.
We have found that teachers have issues getting days away from classes to attend courses because of the added cost of engaging relief teachers; but we have found that our ProductivityNOW e-learning portal resolves this. A year of unlimited access to our exclusive ProductivityNOW e-learning portal enables teachers to complete training at their own pace in and around their teaching commitments; and offers an option for teachers in areas not close to a training centre.
With the ProductivityNOW portal access, teachers can complete a wide range of design related courses for less than the cost of any of our scheduled classes. You only need an internet connection to work through the course material, and I can assist you in getting access to free education software to complete the assessments.
Having one of our technical resources spend a day at your school working through a range of topics is also available depending on where your school is located. This mentoring is not structured, can be run with a group of teachers, and can include assistance in setting up the school design software network pool properly.
Autodesk provide access to its software for schools at no cost. This means that the limited technical support is from Autodesk, and generally all done via email. Redstack offer special technical support packages to enable the ICT personnel at your school to get assistance in setting up their systems. These packages can be standalone support only, or bundled with access to the ProductivityNOW e-learning portal.
