The new Ultimaker print core CC Red 0.6mm has been designed to endure abrasive 3D printing. Its been precision made and has a 0.6 mm diameter tough ruby tip.
PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) is a water soluble support material for multi-extrusion 3D printing. With a good thermal stability, PVA is ideal for printing complex models that require supports for large overhangs, deep internal cavities, and intricate geometries.
Ultimaker TPU 95A (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is an easy and fast to print filament with a nice balance of flexibility, wear and tear resistance, as well as a good resistance to many industrial chemicals and oils. When combined with the Cura’s material profiles, even complex mechanical parts, tools, and fixtures are printed with ease.
The Olsson Ruby will work with a huge range of materials. PLA, ABS, CPE/PET, Nylon, and composites with abrasive additives such as Carbon fibre, Steel, Wood, Boron Carbide, Tungsten and Phosphorescent pigment, are some of the materials successfully tested so far.
